The issue I'm running into is after I import my images to Lightroom, I select one I want converted in XT, go to File -> Plugin Extras -> Process selected RAF(s) to DNG. Can someone that has gotten it to work please post how they set their Lightroom up? On paper it sounds great but in practice I haven't gotten it to work yet. So these settings in X-Transformer are not applicable when Lightroom is sending over images with its plug-in or "Edit In" functionality.Ģ) There is now a convenient LR plug-in which simplifies work-flow.Īs an X-Transformer owner and user, I've found this to be a little misleading and not functional.

There's no easy way to pass file renaming rules and/or alternate save to locations back and forth between the two programs. Then after processing you can get the DNGs back into Lightroom using folder sync or import. If you want to use the file renaming and save to folder options within Iridient X-Transformer you would need to open your images directly into X-Transformer using methods such as drag and drop, reveal in Finder/Explorer or by using the Open dialog from within X-Transformer.

The plug-in will always name the DNG the same as the original RAF with "-IridientEdit" appended to the original name. Note that similar to Lightroom's "Edit In" functionality when using the plug-in all File Naming and Save to Folder options in X-Transformer will be ignored. If you select TIFF format images and try to process them with the plug-in you will get an error message like you describe.Ģ) Choose "Process Selected RAF(s) to DNG" from the Plug-in Extras menu in Lightroomģ) After processing the converted DNG(s) from Iridient X-Transformer will be stacked with the original and made active in Lightroom.

You need to select Fujifilm RAF format images for use with Iridient X-Transformer.
